Style truly can be whatever you want it to be. Fashion is self-expression. Forget the rules, if you like it wear it. I have decided to break the stereotypes about white after Labor Day and the famous style rule, ”you can’t wear white after Labor Day.”
If you want to rock a white suit or white separates through the seasons, there are things you can do to make your outfits more seasonally appropriate, so it doesn’t read too summer-like.
Try pairing a white suit or even pants, for example, with fall color tones such as accessories or tops, since an all-white outfit is your blank canvas and there are many colors that will work. Some fall/winter color examples that would look great would be dark red, forest green, orange, or even dark blue or red velvet.
Now that you have an idea about how to transition white into seasonal changes, the next thing to think about is how and what you will be incorporating together. Red or blue velvet bodysuits with a suit blazer in either colors would look perfect for fall/winter. Whichever bodysuit you go with, try to find matching shoes or a handbag. Or you can wear all white or even with a white top and add fall colors to your accessories such as your shoes and handbag. Lastly, you can apply fall/winter makeup and be strategic with your lipstick color.
Happy styling! I hope you love styling white in fall/winter.
