The weather in sunny CA is always so depressing when we start to hit fall because we are looking at 80 degrees to 90-degree weather. I am an East coast girl so when I moved to CA 11 years ago, the seasons have been a bummer. Even though it is still so HOT here, this look is perfect for fall and for when things start to cool down. (crossing my fingers)
This plaid jacket is a piece I carried over with me from last season. As a lot of you know, I transition pieces that I can re-style into each season. Whether that be from summer to fall or last season items that I bring to new light, plaid is a classic piece that will never go out of style, so when I found this blue dress I knew it had to be paired with my plaid jacket from last season.
The belt and blazer combination is always in the fashion do around the fall season, and this is the first time I have done this! I have to say it is my new go-to this year. It is an oldie but goodie, and another great fashion-forward option to bring from last season.
Lastly, this look has a summer favorite included in this look, my hat. This is another fun way to re-use and re-style summer pieces into fall. The style of this hat fits perfectly with this belted plaid blazer style, as a beautiful finishing piece to the look. I love everything combined.
