Medical Facial Peel
I recently got my first facial peel this weekend and I have to say although it was a process, I am very glad I did it. In my picture above I am not wearing a drop of makeup and my skin looks bright and smooth.
I have had little tiny bumps on my face forever and after the peel my skin is left feeling smooth as silk and looks glowing! My acne is almost all gone as well. The peel has even helped with my dark under-eye area and has brightened that up.
If you live in Los Angeles Califorina I would defiantly refer Mersedeh! Not only is she a skin specialist in the Beverly Hills area; but she also does my eyebrows and she is amazing! Find her on Instagram ( @mersedeh_ )give her a like, follow, and book your appointment with her because she is phenomenal!
Skin Peel Breakdown:
Chemical peels can be done on the face, neck, or hands. They can be used to:
- Reduce fine lines under the eyes and around the mouth
- Treat wrinkles caused by sun damageand aging
- Improve the appearance of mild scars
- Treat certain types of acne
- Reduce age spots, freckles, and dark patches (melasma) due to pregnancy or taking birth control pills
- Improve the look and feel of skin
Areas of sun damage may improve after chemical peeling.
After a chemical peel, skin is temporarily more sensitive to the sun, so wear sunscreen every day. It should say “broad-spectrum” on the label, meaning it protects against the sun’s UVA and UVB rays. Limit your time in the sun, especially between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., and wear a wide-brimmed hat.
